 History Of Varga's Landscaping

Varga's Landscaping started circa 1938 on Center Ridge Road in Rocky River, Ohio. It was founded by Anton William Varga and his sone A. William (Bill) Varga II. Their first customers were primarily in the "Clifton Park" area of Rocky River and included the homes of Louis Saltzer, Mayor Locker, Mayor Celebrezzi, and J.C. Wasmer from Lake Erie Screw. Varga's Landscaping was most notably give the responsiblity of landscaping Vernon Stouffer's boat house in readiness for Walt Disney's visit in the 1950's.

In 1954, the business moved it's operation to Dover Center Road in Westlake where a Greenhouse operation was also started by Bill Varga II.

Varga's Landscaping is now owned and operated by Rick Varga and his son Jason.
